Who is Gorf?

Gorf is a mythical creature who has been living in Wodonga's water tower for many years.

But the moment Wodonga's Water Tower burst into light, Gorf knew his time had come.

It was time to make High St the funkiest street in the universe.

Gorf's first plan was simple, he found eight merchants willing to give him one or more gifts, no matter how humble. Then each week, invite the children of Wodonga to think of ways he could use these gifts to transform High St. He then asked the children to create drawings and stories about how Gorf used these gifts to make High Street a fantastic place that the whole community can be proud of.

Gorf's latest adventure for the children of Wodonga was to find out more about his new friends. From July 5 2008 to September 2008, every Saturday morning the children of Wodonga followed a list of clues, to find out more information about the Merchants in our CBD.
